PSYCHIATRY CLINIC
There are four outpatient clinics, two outpatient clinics, and three outpatient clinics connected to the Psychiatry Clinic. Although it serves mainly adult patients, two child psychiatrists, one in the hospital and one in the Basın Sitesi District Polyclinic, serve children and adolescents. In addition, psychotic disorder and bipolar disorder patients who have partial remission in the community mental health center within the hospital Amatem building are treated with rehabilitation and occupational therapy.
Services :
1. Open Service: There are twenty-four patient beds, including twelve women and twelve men, two specialist physicians, two resident doctors, six nurses and a psychologist.
2. Closed Women's Service: There are four hospital beds, one specialist physician, two assistant doctors and five nurses.
3. Closed Men's Service: There are twelve patient beds, one specialist, two assistant doctors and four nurses.
4. AMATEM Service: There are a total of twenty-six patient beds, four of which are detoxification beds and four rehabilitation beds divided into four of which are close to observation. Patients with severe withdrawal symptoms are closely monitored in the observation room, and patients with more moderate symptoms are deprived of alcohol and substance in the other detoxification section. Patients who complete the purification stage are followed in the rehabilitation section where training, therapy and rehabilitation procedures are performed.
In all services, individual and group psychotherapies, psychoeducation studies, painting, music and handicrafts are conducted. In AMATEM service, addiction-specific training and therapies are given and structured psychoeducation program SAMBA is being implemented.
Clınıcs :
1. General psychiatric outpatient clinic: There are eight outpatient clinics for psychiatric patients, one for forensic psychiatry and one for forensic psychiatry, and one for health board patients.
2. AMATEM Polyclinic: There is a polyclinic room where two probation patients with alcohol and substance abuse are treated.
3. District Polyclinics:
a) Basın Sitesi : A specialist physician who is child psychiatrist serves..
b) Narlıdere: A specialist physician serves.
c) Balçova: A specialist physician serves.
PSYCHOMETRIC UNIT: Psychometric evaluation is performed by seven psychologists in service and outpatient clinics and individual and group psychotherapies are applied.
HANDCRAFT THERAPIES: Apart from individual and group psychotherapies, all of the services are given occupational therapies in the fields of painting, music and handicrafts.
COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER: Three specialist physicians, as well as three nurses, a psychologist, a social worker, serve patients with psychotic disorder and bipolar disorder. In this unit, education, rehabilitation, group psychotherapies, occupational and sports therapies are given to patients and their families and home visits are made.
