RHEUMATOLOGY CLINIC
In our rheumatology clinic, 3 faculty members and 2 specialist physicians work together and provide health care to both inpatients and outpatients.
In the rheumatology clinic, both internal medicine residents and rheumatology subspecialty students have been trained. Usage of the musculoskeletal ultrasound allows us to better diagnose and monitor of the various arthritic diseases. Additionally by the wide experience on the nail fold capillaroscopy our department have an opportunity to diagnose the scleroderma spectrum diseases early in the course. At the same time, specialized small procedures such as minor salivary gland biopsies and arthrosynthesis can be performed in our unit.
Our department has a remarkable experience on the clinical trials.In addition to general rheumatology patients, we offer specialized polyclinic services in our clinic for spondyloarthritis and familial Mediterranean fever patients.
