Dr Songu received his medical degree from Ege University School of Medicine and completed his residency in otorhinolaryngology at Celal Bayar University School of Medicine. He has published several journal articles and written chapters for textbooks in the field of otolaryngology and has made many local and national presentations. Among his special honors and achievements, Dr. Songu received the “Adam Politzer Prize” in 2008. In 2009, he was named as “The Doctor of The Year” by the Ministry of Health and named as “Dedicated Clinical Researcher” in Turkey. He has done research as well as in the area of rhinoplasty, otoplasty, facial plastic surgery and has completed several papers, presentations and publications.
